Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP)

Apply between 15 March – 15 April 2026. You do not need to already be registered for Encampment to apply.

About Tri-Wing Encampment

The Tri-Wing Encampment serves cadets from the Maryland Wing and Delaware Wing. Cadets develop leadership skills through an intense, military-like training environment with an emphasis on personal growth.

Leadership

Practical leadership training in a structured military environment.

Aerospace

Explore aerospace sciences, STEM careers, and orientation flights in military aircraft.

Fitness

Commit to a habit of regular exercise with physical training and obstacle courses.

Character

Solidify moral character and core values through structured cadet programs.

Encampment completion is a prerequisite for Region Cadet Leadership School (RCLS), many National Cadet Special Activities (NCSAs), and is required to earn the General Billy Mitchell Award and become a CAP cadet officer.

What to Bring

Required Items

  • CAP Uniform (USAF-style ABU/OCP)
  • Civilian clothes (for free time)
  • Toiletries and personal hygiene items
  • Bedding (sheets, pillow, sleeping bag)
  • Towels and washcloths
  • Sturdy closed-toe shoes/boots
  • Water bottle (1 quart minimum)
  • Pen and notepad
  • Prescription medications (labeled)

Leave at Home

  • Cell phones (unless medically required)
  • Personal electronics/gaming devices
  • Valuables or excessive cash
  • Civilian food or snacks
  • Non-regulation clothing or accessories
  • Weapons or prohibited items
